AIMS AND VISION
IJAR publishes peer-reviewed scientific articles across all branches of anthropology. It especially welcomes submission of papers written in emerging research areas focusing on urban, developmental, environmental, ethnical, medical, or legal issues as well as on habitat or art. Articles considered for publication in IJAR employ a variety of research approaches including in-depth qualitative methods as well as ethnographic narrations and analysis of documents to probe Iran’s past and present societies and cultures. Our target audience is academics specializing in various field of anthropology and related domains across social sciences and humanities. The journal’s long-term vision is to play a facilitating role for cooperation among domestic and international scholars and academic institutions.
