ABOUT IJAR
IJAR a biannual, peer-reviewed journal, which publish original research papers and book reviews in Persian. It has been published since summer 2010 as University of Tehran’s first and only scientific journal solely dedicated to the field of anthropology. IJAR was created after the decision of the University of Tehran to divide the old Journal of Social Sciences published since 1960s into a series of publications specialized in different social science disciplines. IJAR publishes papers across anthropological fields dealing with biology, archaeology, linguistic, and culture. It especially welcomes submission of papers written in emerging research areas focusing on urban, developmental, environmental, ethnical, medical, or legal issues as well as on habitat or art.
